Change of Command Ceremonies for Parris Island and 169th Fighter Wing
Both Marine Corps Recruit Depot-Parris Island and South Carolina Air National Guard 169th Fighter Wing underwent changes of command this Month.
On May 2nd, Colonel Shaun "Tripp" Bowes relinquished control of the 169th Fighter Wing to Colonel Taylor "Nightmare" Blevins at McEntire Joint National Guard Base.
Additionally, on Tuesday, May 19th outgoing Commanding General of MCRD Parris Island and the Eastern Recruiting Region, Brigadier General Ahmed T. Williamson, relinquished control to Brigadier General Lance J. Langfeldt.
